HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR SWEETIES!

had to wake up at 8am today to go 拜年.
went to 5 places in total.
there were dogs at 3 out of 5 of these places.
so had fun playing with them.

then after that went home to MY dog.
he was oh so happy to see us after we neglected him the whole day.
i wanna listen to music but ah ma is sleeping so i cant blast from the comp.
pffft.





gained 2kg from eating all the chinese new year goodies.
yuck.

even though i skipped lunch and dinner.
gosh.
i'm still full!




why are old people so fond of stuffing food and drinks in your face?
haiyoh.
then they always go " buay hiao gng lah! mai kek ki mai kek ki!"
and you think " oh what the heck" and grab another slice of that oh so delicious homemade kueh lapis/ bak kua/ love letters/ kueh buloh/ kueh bangkit etc etc




today there wasnt many old people.
tmr would be worse.
they are all such good cooks and their homemade goodies are to die for.
especially my ahma's sister.
she's nyonya and apparently she inherited the cooking skill my ahma never mastered...
thank heavens for that or i would be FAT now.

exhausted from the whole day of visiting.
i'll go lie on my bed and spirit myself away.
